Replacement sourcing is not simply finding a display of the same size. Compatible electrical pinout, connector position, mechanical dimensions, and backlight specification all determine whether a replacement will actually work.
Compatibility note: Not all same-size displays are interchangeable. Electrical pinout, connector type and position, power supply specifications, and backlight type must all be compatible before a replacement can be installed. We verify these before recommending an alternative.
How replacement LCD sourcing works
Provide the original panel information
The more information you provide, the faster we can identify compatible alternatives. The most useful starting point is the original manufacturer part number, which leads directly to the panel datasheet. If you don't have the part number, panel dimensions plus interface type is the next best starting point.

Common questions
What if the exact replacement is no longer available?
When an exact part is unavailable, we look for functionally equivalent alternatives that match the interface pinout, panel dimensions, and resolution. In some cases, interface adapter boards can bridge pin mapping differences between original and replacement panels.
Can you source CCFL-backlit panels?
CCFL-backlit panels are increasingly difficult to source as production has largely shifted to LED. In many cases, the most practical solution is an LED-backlit replacement panel with an inverter adapter, rather than sourcing original CCFL stock.
What's the minimum information needed to start a replacement inquiry?
Panel size (diagonal in inches) and interface type will get us started. The original part number is ideal — it provides the complete specification without ambiguity. Without a part number, we may need to request photos and additional measurements.
Do you support replacement sourcing for medical equipment displays?
Yes. Medical equipment replacement sourcing requires particular care around documentation and compatibility verification. We provide datasheet references and dimensional drawings to support your internal qualification process.
What about displays inside proprietary equipment with no accessible part number?
If no part number is accessible, we can work from physical measurements, a high-resolution photo of the panel label, connector type and position, and any visible markings. This takes longer but is often sufficient for identification.
